We visited our first event since before the pandemic yesterday – and it was fantastic to meet up with peers and contacts again in our field. Speaking to exhibitors that were present, most commented in an increase in client requirement for IT services through this last difficult two years. Like most companies, we rallied to support our clients, providing additional remote services, quick solutions to keeping business processes continuing in a very different landscape. This was a great boon to many but now is the time for us all to reflect on these solutions and what we can do better going forward. People are thankfully returning to the workplace, benefiting from face to face collaboration again, but with hybrid and remote working also here to stay in some form or another, many organisations should be looking at an efficient, cost effective way to adopt these solutions long term.
